Ingredients

  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup Adams® 100% Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Snipped chives
  • Chopped peanuts for garnish

Directions

  • Step 1

    COOK celery and onion in butter in medium saucepan until onion is tender, but not browned. Stir in flour, stirring until well blended.

  • Step 2

    ADD chicken broth, cooking until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and rub through a sieve.

  • Step 3

    ADD peanut butter and milk, stirring to blend thoroughly. Heat through, but do not boil

  • Step 4

    SERVE hot or cold. Garnish with snipped chives and chopped peanuts, if desired.
